Episode 2. Who would’ve thought? 😂
It has been an interesting week in the world of music. Today’s highlights are simply follow ups from what I brought up the previous week. Let’s go through them.
Cardi vs Nicki Aftermath
Things have not been going well for Cardi after that fight. She said that she would throw another shoe if the opportunity arose. Nicki then went on to Queen Radio to say how embarrassed she was to be involved in such a scuffle in front of the elite personalities in a fashion event. You would actually think that she was the victim in all of this when we obviously know that she has been sending out subliminal disses. What’s even funny is that she would never speak ill of another person’s child. *Cough* Stormi *Cough*.
It now seems people are now on Nicki’s side and that’s pure hypocrisy in my opinion. I don’t think people understand what kind of person Cardi is. When she raps about something, she definitely means it. That girl crazy. Offset knows it. I know it. When she says she will beat someone up, best believe that she’ll beat someone up. No two ways about it.
Let me hope and pray that this doesn’t affect her career in the near future. I like Cardi. As a matter of fact, I’m on her side on this one. I don’t care if we at the Met Gala, you wanted to disrespect my family, you’re going to get a beating. That’s just me. 🤷🏽♂️
Eminem responds to MGK
Before I begin on this “battle of the crackers” story, I would like to appreciate Eminem’s new album. It is way better than his previous record. I, personally, had a hard time listening to it. Kamikaze fixes all that and I’m a happy man. Expect the album review soon. (If you’re triggered by the horrible joke, skip to the last paragraph).
So, Eminem responded to MGK with his song Killshot. Oh dear. I don’t know what to say about it. On one end, Em shows us why he isn’t someone to mess with and at the same time, I feel like he was holding back. Can we talk about how he says Diddy is the guy who ordered the hit on Pac? 😮 Is that true or is Em fucking with us?
Yeah, the diss track was good but I wasn’t satisfied. To be honest, I knew MGK would be buried deep like what we saw with Ja Rule. Killshot is a little soft on Kelly. I don’t know why but that’s how I feel. Kudos to MGK for being able to put up a fight with his song. He gave his very best.
Doja Cat’s viral song
If you have not heard this song by now, you need to be slapped hard. You know what? Let me link the video down below and tell me what you think. All I can say is that it is a ridiculous song. 😂😂
That’s all for this week. Nothing much to report on the local scene. Or is there something I have left out? Btw, don’t take that cracker joke seriously. It’s all good. What’s funny is that a white guy is the best rapper in the world, a culture initiated by black people. The irony.
